Resurrection is not a return to old life, but the gospel story happening right in the middle of our story!
God doesn’t play around in all’s well that ends well. God deals in resurrection. God deals in new life. God deals in redemption. God deals in grace.
With our return to indoor, in-person worship, the audio file for this sermon was not captured at high enough quality to post here.
Easter is not a return to normal. Easter is not a return to anything. Easter is all of our death, redeemed.
From Hosannas to Crucify!, and every moment in between. In all of our whiplash and rushing around trying to save ourselves, God is working out our redemption.
God does not forsake his people.
What if God sees us, just the way we are and loves us still?
If only we can be just foolish enough to believe that God is redeeming everything.
What matters; the only thing that matters, is not how faithful we are, but how faithful God is. And God is always faithful.
We sin; God forgives. We sin more; God forgives more. As much as any of us sin, God forgives, continually.
